Diary Ng Panget Book Review

Are you looking for a book that will make your vibes good, without having a sad part or such? Maybe, my diary is the one you’re looking for. Just kidding. But seriously, Diary ng Panget will charm you.

I think, I don’t need to elaborate the plot anymore because, I assume, almost all of us know this already. It’s a shame for those who didn’t know this bestselling book, and at the same time, a blockbuster movie.

Okay. So this the very first Wattpad book I ever read. Before, I really don’t want reading stories on Wattpad because my presumption is that Wattpad stories are made unprofessionally. But my friends said give Diary ng Panget a try. This proves me very very wrong. I was ashamed for having that kind of idea. My belief on Wattpad stories was changed because of Diary ng Panget. It may not be written professionally, but it has this something – something that will make the readers couldn’t resist it. Believe me or not, I read the whole story, I mean, its four books in just a day. As I finished the first book, I couldn’t wait a minute to know what would happen next so I immediately read the second book. That happened until the book 4. This is I was able to finish the whole Diary ng Panget in just a day, or maybe, more than a day, but less than two days.

Imagine, after I read all four, a lot of girls from my high school borrowed it. I think, it took a quarter of the year since I read the book again. Why? It is because I only had my Diary ng Panget for an hour as maximum, and then, another student will borrow it. As you can seen in the photo, I only had three books because my book 4 was missing done by the people borrowing it. That was so sad. But the bottom line is that Diary ng Panget is a book worth anticipating! Perhaps, I could return my allowance to my parents if I had a book rent for Diary ng Panget.

As for the story itself, well, I couldn’t stop myself from laughing as I read the story from line to line. So, you now have the hint that it is a comedy book. Yes, it is. But I am looking for another something in Diary ng Panget. For what we studied in English, a story must be like a mountain, wherein the climax is on the mountain peak. But I find Diary ng Panget just a plain one, or maybe a plateau one. This story may have a conflict, but that was so mild, that I couldn’t recognize where the exciting part was. Well, that was just alright because I still find the whole story exciting, so maybe we should forget finding where the climax was. Another thing is that may be the author’s purpose is just for the readers to have fun. And I congratulate her for making her purpose not just possible but beyond the HaveYouSeenThisGirL’s expectation.
