Fit-sustaining Shake

After sharing my Fit-sustaining Granola and my Flu-fighting Shake, the question is why don’t we meet these two halfway. As I’ve said on these blog posts, being healthy and fit at the same time is the real sexy! But since I’m one of those people who easily get tired of exercising, I’m relying my fitness lifestyle on choosing the right amount of quality foods. On the other hand, we are so addicted to shakes without knowing what its components can give us because sometimes, there are really undesirable constituents included on commercial shakes, like the powder. So if you’ll ask me, I prefer shakes that are freshly made and of course, with healthy benefits. For those people who are asking to meet these two halfway, your request is my command. We’re going to make fit-sustaining shake! The ingredients are listed below. All you have to do is to toss those in a blender and punch the blend button. Wash and peel if necessary.

Banana

Banana is always present in most diet shakes. My mother is buying Herbalife shake and the nutrition club recommends to add bananas into it. I’ve watched and read different recipes of this kind and noticed that banana is the common ingredient. Well, it’s obvious why. Bananas are affordable and not seasonal. Aside from that, contain fiber and resistant starch, which supports weight loss. That’s why banana is added to our fit-sustaining shake!

Cinnamon

After a few reads in idealbite.com, I discovered that there five ways cinnamon can aid weight loss. First, it controls insulin levels so excess fats do not build up. Second, it decreases blood sugar that causes the same as the first way. Third, it speeds metabolism so you’ll burn more calories. Fifth, it directly burns belly fats. The effect is obvious. And lastly, it suppresses appetite so won’t be tempted to reach for sweets. That’s why cinnamon is added to our fit-sustaining shake!

Hazelnut

Yes! Nutella’s main ingredient helps in weight loss, but that doesn’t mean you can substitute Nutella because they are still different. A pot of Nutella contains sugar that is more than half of it. Remember, sugar is our mortal enemy when it comes to fitness so let’s keep this shake non-sugar as much as we can. Anyway, these marble-sized nuts are high in healthy polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fats that’s why hazelnut is added to our fit-sustaining shake!

Kiwi

Guess what this is? Anyone? Chillax! It’s kiwi. Oh! sorry for being so random. I just copied lines from the Nestea Kiwi Lemon commercial because that was the first thing that came to my mind when I saw this fruit. And yeah! This is kiwi. It actually doesn’t burn fat right away, but they can help fill you up without a lot of calories, which may make it easier for you to lose weight, as said by livestrong.com. That’s why kiwi is added to our fit-sustaining shake!

Cranberry Juice

The main health benefit of cranberry juice we know is UTI prevention. However, it doesn’t stop there because it also has nutritious ingredients for skin, hair, teeth and the good news, belly. With its fiber content and emulsifying effect on the fats deposited in the body, cranberry juice can help you get a flat stomach. It’s already proven because some people have it breakfast, lunch and dinner. But of course, we want some twists so cranberry juice is added to our fit-sustaining shake!
