Gown Ideas: Charming Sweetheart White And Gold Ballgown

Gown Ideas Charming Sweetheart White And Gold Ballgown

Let’s take a break on cocktail gowns for a while and let me share this ballgown I wore last Santacruzan. For those who don’t know what Santacruzan is, especially people outside Philippines, it is a pageant on the last day of Flores de Mayo, a festival in our country. As the word itself says, the event is held in honor to the holy cross, together with Helena of Constantinople and Constantine the Great. As the Queen of Queens, I found this white and gold gown perfect for the event – simple yet queenly.

Floor-length or the lace-up closure on the back are all the best choice for parties and events like this. At the same time, the white color’s adoption and the bodice itself decorated with gold sequins and beads make you be the shiny and charming highlight during the whole celebration. Lastly, if you want to show off your cuteness and lively temperament, you should take good advantage of this dress’s combination of the strapless and sweetheart neckline.

makeup

Sorry for the oil and sweat because I had this photo after walking along the streets of our town. However, this is the kind of makeup that my makeup artist applied to me. The gown makes my skin in shoulder and neck visible that’s why I suggested to let my long hair hanging loosely or freely. Thanks Christine Palmares for this.

completing the look

Since I’m the Queen of the Queens of this event, my accessories should include a high crown and a scepter. I chose this set of jewelry which have a statement necklace and a pair of earrings. My footwear is just a flat sandals so that I can easily trudge in the pageant. FYI, my flats are not just simple as you think, of course, I’m portraying the Queen of the Queens so I had a charming sandals from Grendha.
