Gown Ideas: Dainty White One Shoulder Cocktail Dress

Gown Ideas Dainty White One Shoulder Cocktail Dress

Who says that I love black in terms of wearing gowns? I think, they had this assumption because the first two gown ideas that I posted, Contemporary Strapless Black And White Cocktail Dress and Mature Strapless Shiny Black Cocktail Dress, were both tinted with the absence of color. Yes, I love black because of the elegance it gives but I also love the other colors, as long as it fits to me perfectly. Just like this gown I have here which is colored with the opposite of black. Well, I had white because I used this as a wedding gown in our school’s theater play. The director just preferred a below-knee hemline gown. Do you wish to know its other details?

If yes, then your wish is granted. The tulle gown features the adoption knee length and the one-shoulder neckline with the zipper back. Tight ruche bodice features the clingy style perfectly outlines the slim bust curve. Its front is accented by the beading decorations. This tulle skirt flares down to the knees and just adds a sense of romantic touch to the gown. The intricate-designed fabric decorated on the shoulder adds sparkle to the dress.

My makeup artist said that if you have a fair skin, too much makeup is not needed anymore. Light and simple such as what I have will do and make you shine onstage. This photo is taken before my hair is curled. But in our actual play, as you can see in my other photos, I had subtle curls on the ends of hair. I love how they flow on my shoulders. Thanks to Christine Palmares for my hair and makeup.

If you’re wondering why this gown’s description says that it has one-shoulder neckline, while in the photo, it seems that it has an illusion neckline. That illusion you see is just a tulle bolero jacket that I wore underneath the cocktail gown. My school don’t accept students wearing sleeveless dresses inside the campus that’s why I had this bolero. Good thing that it doesn’t just hide my skin, but also gives flair to the cocktail gown and its model.
