Gown Ideas: Mature Shiny Black Strapless Cocktail Dress

Gown Ideas Mature Strapless Shiny Black Cocktail Dress

Maybe, my readers think that I love the color black on gowns since my the first gown idea that I shared was Contemporary Strapless Black And White Cocktail Dress. Yes, I like black but I never expected to have this shiny Black Cocktail Dress in my closet. It goes this way. Last night, I was assigned to host a big Pandanggitab-themed pageant in our province. I’m so glad that the gowns I’d used was provided but I had no idea what it looks like before the program. However, after the show, I got a call saying that this cocktail dress is mine already. Lucky me! How I love receiving gifts such as this!

Moving on, I love how it make its carrier mature and elegant. Mature may be a lot of girls’ features, but your mature feeling is much more charming and attractive than other women. With this cocktail dress, you can show your elegance and feminine smell without any problems. At the same time, the dress is a better choice for you to attend any occasions as the guests or the celebrant.

makeup

As you can see, my makeup may seem a bit rush because the pageant is gonna start. That’s also the reason why my hair is as simple as that – combed and ready to go. Also, I wasn’t able to take a pic of my face when it’s freshly beautified, instead, I had this photo when the show is all done. Don’t worry. The stuff they applied to my face is just the same, except for the extra oil and sweat.

completing the look

What I love about this gown is that it is plain black. And as I said in Five Ways On How To Wear A Black Dress, this color can complement with any other color. This just means that I can pair this cocktail dress with any belt, accessories, bags, shoes and stuff like that. Look what I did. The pageant director did, rather. He let me wore this festive cardigan since the event has a Pandanggitab theme. He match the belt with the cardigan which has an intricate design of gold. And I chose this pair of heels from MNJ to make me stand on stage.
