joining the voice

First of all, I would like to say sorry because the title is just a joke. No, it’s not a joke but it’s quite a joke. Yes, I really joined. But not in the ‘The Voice’ place that you expect. Oh, nevermind. But you have to read this.

Every singer dreams of standing on the stage of The Voice. Take me as an example. Oh kidding, I’m not a singer. I can sing but not that good as you assume. But yeah, most of us dreams of being part of The Voice even just in the blind auditions. Of all singing contest in TV, this is my favorite. The way the judges judge, the way singers sing, the way the coaches coach, the way the hosts host – I love it. The process is all unique and fun. I know that the audiences and TV viewers love it as much as I do. That’s why the contestants really shine bright like diamonds.

But you know what’s new? We can have blind auditions in our homes! That’s what I’m talking about. But not on the stage of The Voice and the coaches are not Coach Apl, Coach Lea, Coach Sarah, Coach Bamboo, Coach Adam, Coach Blake, Coach Gwen or Coach Pharell, instead the coach is the tablet, oh yes, the tablet. Because Starmaker now provides us an iOS karaoke app aimed at mimicking the experience of being a contestant of The Voice.

Starmaker’s The Voice: On Stage let the player sing, record, and compete with over 650 hit songs including Happy, All of Me, Royals, Wrecking Ball, Best Day of my Life, Counting Stars, The Monster, Story of my Life and Say Something. The lyrics appear on screen along with a bar that shows pitch and lights up when you hit the note. Based on how well you’re doing,  the famous “I want you” chairs will turn one at a time. I repeat, just the chairs and not your desired coaches.

It is must try especially for those who are frustrated singers who want to join The Voice. Kidding! But that’s true because aside from the feeling of being a mimic contestant, we can learn the proper singing of the song. Overall, it’s fun!

The Voice and I

thousand miles

I tried the song “A Thousand Miles” by Vanessa Carlton. I just took a screenshot, instead of sharing the video. I’m shy!
