The Country Bean: Amazing Coffee Simply Made For You

When we talk about the coffee market in Pinamalayan, one brand that you’ll definitely hear is The Country Bean. Being one of the pioneering coffee shops in town, The Country Bean has attracted customers not just from Pinamalayan, but also from neighboring towns. Their menu ranges from hot to iced coffees and from frappes to coolings treats.

The Country Bean prides itself for serving coffee with international standards. As locals of Pinamalayan, we are honored to have such coffee experience in our very own town.

Iced Latte

Iced Latte is my usual order on coffee shops and I must say that The Country Bean hit the latte of my preference. Despite its creamy color, the brew’s notes really take the spotlight blended with just the right amount of milk for a balanced taste. It has no sweetness but if you want to sweeten, I recommend adding vanilla syrup. Just be ready for an all-night liveliness because this coffee consists three shots of espresso.

Hot Caramel Macchiato

This espresso-based drink is perfect for those who like their coffee semi-sweet with steamed milk and caramel drizzle. However, don’t be deceived with the caramel on the name because the strength of the coffee is still dominating, which is actually how I like my joe to be. The warmth is just comforting, specially during rainy days. Moreover, I appreciate the good latte art right there.

TCB WCM

TCB WCM, or White Chocolate Mocha in The Country Bean’s term, is my suggested and the safest choice for those who aren’t really into coffee. You can never go wrong with a coffee and chocolate mixture. The dark notes of the coffee boosts the sweetness of the white chocolate, resulting to a not-too-sweet yet not-too-bitter drink. It’s my Starbucks’ favorite flavor so I’m happy that the cafe has the same flavor.

Choco Brownie Fudge

Honestly, I’m not a fan of frappe but I ended up liking The Country Bean’s Choco Brownie Fudge. I got to fill both my coffee fix and chocolate cravings in one creamy, ice-cold frappe. I love that it has generous amount of brownie crumbs. You’ll have them in every sip, making the drink heavenly. I also had a gulp of my boyfriend’s order, which is Karamel, and it was great as well. Unlike the hot coffee version, the frappe is sweet and indeed delectable.

Cinnamon Roll and Brownies

Two of our favorite pastries in The Country Bean are Cinnamon Roll and Brownies. Sometimes, my boyfriend would just go to the cafe for the Cinnamon Rolls. The dough is lightly sweetened but full of flavor. On the other hand, their brownies also go hand-in-hand with their coffee. Although I personally prefer brownies that are chewy and gooey, their soft brownies are still recommended. Anyway, The Country Bean’s pastries are baked by Dine at Log so they’re guaranteed to be delightful.
