How To Make Galaxy Soda

It’s the 300th day of quarantine period in our region and no, the quarantine has no connection with today’s recipe. I was just used to start my blog this ways since the start of pandemic. I was counting how long this will be. I can’t believe it’s been exactly 300 days. Oh God! Help us!

Anyway, what we have today is something magical. With the help of this blue butterfly pea flower, this color-changing lemon soda will give you a tour to the galaxy.

1. Prepare all the ingredients needed.

  • 20 grams butterfly pea flowers
  • 2 1/2 cups boiling water
  • 2 cups lemon juice
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ice
  • soda

2. Infuse flowers into the boiling water and let this sit for an hour.

3. After an hour, filter out the water and fill ice cube tray.

4. Freeze overnight.

5. Let’s make the lemon syrup by mixing lemon and sugar over medium heat. Keep stirring until the sugar dissolves. Steam for ten minutes.

6. When everything’s ready, get the blender and crush the normal ice. Add lemon syrup to taste.

7. In another blender, crush the blue ice.

8. Start assembling by filling glass with the third of the cup.

9. The second layer will be the crushed blue ice.

10. Pour more lemon syrup.

11. Top with soda and watch how the color changes into a galaxy.

12. Your Galaxy Soda Lemonade is now done and ready to be served.
