How To Make Jelly Worms

It’s almost Halloween and gummy worms will surely be in demand for trick-or-treating kids again. These wiggling delights are sweet, sour and mouthwatering at the same time. Even if we were grown-ups, we wouldn’t forget the taste of a good gummy worm. Let me go back to my childhood as I produce my own version of these edible worms. Since I think it’s impossible to make gummy worms at home without scientific methods, we’re going to make jelly worms instead, which is equally yummy. After all, it’s easier to make and it’s a recipe both kids and adults could enjoy. Let’s get this started.

1. Prepare all the ingredients needed.

  • jelly powder mix
  • water
  • sugar
  • food coloring
  • food flavoring

2. Dilute gelatin powder mix into a pot of water on high heat.

3. Sweeten with sugar. Stir and wait until it boils.

4. Remove from heat and transfer the jelly liquid into a container or molder.

5. Drop the food coloring and food flavoring. Mine’s in orange flavor! Let it cool.

6. Once it transformed into jelly, get a straw and stick it into the jelly.

7. Remove the jelly worms from the straw. Do this until the gelatin’s all holed.

8. Your Jelly Worms are now done and ready to be served.
