Covid Getaway At Buktot Beach

http___www.bigleaguekickball.com_category_press_ cheap soma overnight saturday delivery It’s the 118th day of quarantine period in our region and finally, I got to see the sea! I got to see the beach! My feet finally felt fine white sand and salt water.

MOST RELIABLE ONLINE PHARMACY FOR Soma ~ ORDER Soma ONLINE CANADA We missed summer because of that shitty pandemic. But the gloomy weather of August won’t stop us from having a beach experience at least once for 2020. Indeed, it’s never too late for summer.

Soma no prescription needed overnight Luckily, despite of being locked up in our province, Oriental Mindoro has hidden gems that are worth a visit. And as I was telling, we just happily checked off Buktot Beach from that list as we recently made our way to this beautiful paradise of Mansalay.

http___www.bigleaguekickball.com_about_ Soma no prescription next day delivery We were welcomed with a wide sandy coast that looks like a desert. I can already picture a lot of activities that we can do here. With salty sea breeze, this invites tourists for a great picnic experience. My sporty friends could set up a volleyball court here. I can imagine our UTV having an exhibition on this terrain. But for now, we’ll just have our pickup truck. The coast is so spacious that we could park our car just beside the cabanas.

But some prefer setting up tents since Buktot Beach is also an excellent place for camping. As for me, I love staying under the aroma trees. It makes me appreciate the nature more. They were providing good shade, after all.

Seeing different kinds of animals, like dogs, goats and turkeys guarantees that the flora and fauna here is well-preserved. They seem healthy and happy living in this beach. We also brought Mousse, our pet Shih Tzu, and I’m surprised that they treated him tamely. Just like them, Mousse enjoyed playing with the sea water, fine sand and green leaves.

Buktot may be situated in a remote area but it easily attracts tourists because of the white sand, which, for me, is finer than Puerto Galera’s. My feet loved playing and exfoliating with the Buktot sand while the kids enjoyed making sand castles with them. However, at some parts, the sand is mixed with pebbles, tiny shells and coral bits.

My companions told me that before, Buktot has very clear water, which enables them to see the pebbles underwater. The water this time wasn’t as transparent as described. Perhaps, it was because of the big waves since it was rainy when we visited. The beach is clean and virgin and it makes me sad to see few garbage from the sea driven ashore by the waves.

If you happen to visit Buktot, you must not miss climbing the small hill situated at the end of the beach. The trail is worth the climb, especially when you see this fascinating view of the beach from the top. On the other side, you will get a beautiful sight of a part of Mansalay. If only it wasn’t raining, I’m willing to spend hours on top while savoring the scene and the wind.

Once you visit, aim for the right part of the beach as it is the most wonderful portion. There’s the hill, the less stony sand and the rock formation that left us in awe. It was molded as if a ship has docked. With turquoise water, clear blue sky and lush greenery at the background, it’s a great spot for Instagram photos.

I heard that guests can hire and ride boats to the middle of the sea. But it wasn’t a work day during the time of our visit because of the strong current. Maybe, the locals also stopped offering boat rides due to the pandemic. It’s a missed opportunity but it’s alright. We already had so much pleasure swimming and wandering around the beach.

Since Buktot is not yet a commercial beach, you won’t find food houses or establishments along its shores. But it has a grilling station where visitors can cook their meals. As a Mindoro native, I suggest that you buy your raw meat at Roxas Public Market or at Bulalacao or Mansalay Fish Ports before coming to the beach. You will surely find fresh catch from these places. We got a fish from Roxas and we were able to make Tuna Sashimi and Grilled Tuna out of it.

Yep! You will definitely experience the country life here. Lack of electricity and signal should be expected. There are no structures aside from the cabanas, small comfort room and a house with sari-sari store. You’ll dig your water using an old-fashioned water pump, also called as poso. You might say that it is inconvenient in here but the place will provide the relaxation and serenity you are wishing. It’s only you and the nature. And that, alone, is rewarding.
