How To Make Apple Blondies

Brownies are my favorite bars but sometimes, we have to refrain from this chocolate goodness and try new things. I’m talking about blondies, the opposite of brownies! If brownies depend on chocolate for their flavor, blondies are all about sugar, caramel, toffee, butterscotch and the like. Today, I’m going to show you how I made Apple Blondies.

As you will see, I used microwave to cook these blondies because there’s no oven in where I was. So I tried baking them in microwave since it’s the only available cooking device at my old place during that time. It didn’t turn out to be the blondies I expected but surprisingly, it cooked and it tasted different yet awesome.

This is an old recipe and these are old photos because I can’t think of a new content today. I’m sorry. I feel unproductive today.

1. Prepare all the ingredients needed. This includes an apple, flour, butter, sugar, eggs, baking powder, salt and powdered milk.

2. Soften half cup of butter.

3. Mix in a cup of flour and one-third cup of sugar. Stir together.

4. Place parchment paper on baking pan.

5. Press the crust that you made on the pan. Microwave for a minute.

6. While the crust is being cooked, juice fresh apple and get one-third cup of it. Or you can use apple juice.

7. Create the filling by beating two eggs with a cup of sugar and the apple juice.

8. Add a tablespoon of flour, a half teaspoon of baking powder and a quarter teaspoon of salt while beating.

9. Pour the filling over the baked crust.

10. Cook it again in the microwave for three minutes.

11. Set it aside for cooling.

12. Mix a tablespoon of sugar and a tablespoon of powdered milk.

13. Sprinkle this mixture on top of the filling.

14. Refrigerate.

15. Cut into squares.

16. Your Apple Blondies are now done and ready to be served.
