How To Make Baileys Hot Chocolate

Since its launch in 1974, Baileys Original Irish Cream has been the number one loved liqueur in the world! A pioneering innovation of its time, Baileys blends the finest Irish fresh cream with Irish whiskey to create a liquid unparalleled by others. On their page, you will find out how to make delicious Baileys cocktails and mouth-watering desserts recipes that will impress your friends and family at any occasion. For this blog, I planned to recreate their version of hot chocolate. It’s a totally chocolatey winter warmer for this Christmas.

I’m aware that the purpose of hot chocolate is to keep us warm delightfully especially during winter season. It’s that simple. But I can’t live life in simplicity all along so I try to put twists in some things I make. And just recently, I tried adding a shot of Baileys Original Irish Cream to my usual hot chocolate and it made my cold day even hotter. It’s combining two of our favorites so you can’t go wrong with this wonderfully warming treat with a velvety Baileys flourish.

1. Prepare all the ingredients needed. This includes milk, chocolate powder, candy-coated chocolates and Baileys Original Irish Cream.

2. Start by putting a teaspoon of chocolate powder into the glasses.

3. Place a cup of milk into a jar with lid and shake the jar vigorously until the milk form foams.

4. Stir in milk into the glasses of chocolate powder. Leave the foam.

5. Pour 50ml Baileys Original Irish Cream to each glass.

6. Then, fill glasses with milk foam and set this aside.

7. Pulverize the candy-coated chocolates.

8. Sprinkle these on top of the hot chocolate. Well, you can decorate your hot chocolate with whipped cream, marshmallows, chocolate cubes, chocolate chips and syrup just like what the original recipe taught. However, it can also be as simple as this.

9. Your Baileys Hot Chocolate is now done and ready to be served. Cheers!
