How To Make Eggnog Waffle Toast

It’s the 195th quarantine period in our region and it’s less than 100 days before the start of eggnog season. I’m talking about Christmas, of course. Who’s excited? Aside from the birth of Christ, family reunions, gift-giving, Christmas carols, Misa de Gallo, I’m most excited for food. That’s why I’m already making eggnogs.

But don’t expect something to drink today because I’m only using a leftover eggnog to make a dish that will brighten your brunch time or snack time.

Let’s make this holiday treat extra special by creating Eggnog Waffle Toast.

1. Prepare all the ingredients needed.

  • 2 eggs
  • 1/4 tsp nutmeg powder
  • 2 cups of milk
  • 2 tbsps of vanilla
  • 8 slices of bread

2. Beat the two eggs.

3. Mix beaten eggs, milk, nutmeg powder and vanilla.

4. Soak bread slices into the eggnog mixture.

5. While preparing for the bread slices, preheat waffle maker.

6. Arrange on a plate and drizzle with the syrup of your choice.

7. Your Eggnog Waffle Toast is now done and ready to be served.
