How To Make Jelly Cheesecake

There are times when I want simplicity. But there are also times when I want to make complicated things and see how they will work. And I think I just did that to my latest dessert because I didn’t just made a traditional cheesecake with sliced fruits on top. I created a cheesecake with jelly on top! I don’t know what came into my mind. It just popped up with my three in the morning thoughts. Seriously!

For me, cheesecakes alone are already difficult to bake because the right measurement of creaminess and cheesiness should be balanced or else, it will all be ruined. What more if we added jelly? Yep! This one may require quite a lot of work but once it’s done, the lusciousness would just wipe away your tiredness from making. It’s that delicious!

1. Prepare all the ingredients needed.

  • a cup of crushed graham crackers
  • 80 grams margarine
  • 100 grams cream cheese
  • a cup whipping cream
  • three-fourth cup of sugar
  • a cup of milk
  • 25 grams powdered gelatin
  • a cup of water
  • fruit

2. Melt the margarine using a pot.

3. Pour melted margarine in a bowl of crushed graham crackers and mix them until the graham crackers becomes crumbly.

4. Spread the graham crackers into a pan evenly to make the crust.

5. Refrigerate for a while.

6. In another bowl, combine cream cheese, whipping cream and half cup of sugar and whip them using hand mixer. Set aside.

7. Place milk and 15 grams of gelatin powder on heat and let it simmer.

8. Gradually pour the gelatin mixture into the cream cheese mixture while beating.

9. Pour the cream cheese mixture on top of the graham crust.

10. Place it back into the fridge for an hour.

11. Cut your choice of fruit into cubes.

12. Assemble diced fruit on top of the cream cheese layer. Set this aside.

13. Make the third layer by dissolving 10 grams of gelatin powder into a pot of boiling water.

14. Let this cool for awhile before scooping the gelatin water on top of the cream cheese.

15. Let it cool until the gelatin becomes jelly in texture.

16. Place in the fridge.

17. Your Jelly Cheesecake is now done and ready to be served.
