How To Make Meatball Nachos

It’s the 370th day of quarantine period in our region and mom’s planning to build up a Kanwatam branch at Roxas. Oops! I guess that’s still a secret. I’m sorry, mom, for announcing it here.

Anyway, they are now on the process of food tasting and kitchen training while I am enjoying the free food they’re making during the training. I also got to keep some ingredients that are below standard but are still useful for personal use. I got myself some torn tortilla wraps, broken cheese slices, blandly-made sauces and more. With this, I was able to make recipes and dishes that aren’t part of Kanwatam’s menu. One of them is this Meatball Nachos.

1. Prepare all the ingredients needed.

  • tortilla wrap
  • 1/2 cup olive oil
  • 1 tbsp basil
  • 1 tbsp salt
  • 1 tbsp pepper
  • 1 tbsp fried garlic
  • 1/4 kilo ground beef
  • 1/4 cup tomato sauce
  • cheddar cheese slices
  • grated mozzarella cheese

2. Mix olive oil, salt, pepper, fried garlic and basil.

3. Cut tortilla wrap into eight.

4. Drench tortilla wrap into olive oil.

5. Lay in pan and bake for 8 minutes at 180 degrees celsius.

6. Season beef with salt and pepper. You can also add chopped onion and garlic.

7. Mold beef into rounds.

8. Cook meatballs in butter.

9. Add tomato sauce.

10. When the chips are done, arrange them at the bottom of a pan.

11. Drizzle with grated mozzarella cheese.

12. Place meatballs on top.

13. Let cheddar cheese slices sit on top.

14. Bake for another 5 minutes or until the cheese has melted.

15. Your Meatball Nachos is now done and ready to be served.
