How To Make Pearl Milk Tea Jelly Pops

When my boyfriend and I started our own milk tea business, built up Breen Milk Tea in Mindoro and learned the basics of brewing and mixing a milk tea drink, a number of strange but fun milk tea recipes instantly comes to my mind. Last time, I did a little tweaking on the classic milk tea by spreading Oreo cream cheese around its cup. This is inspired by Macao Imperial Milk Tea’s Cream Cheese Oreo Milk Tea. Today, I’m taking it to the next level as I make desserts in natural milk tea flavor. And I’m sharing not only one dessert, but two new ways to enjoy our favorite tea drink. The first one is the Pearl Milk Tea Jelly Pops and the special addition is the Pearl Milk Tea Jelly Salad. Interesting? Keep reading!

1. Prepare all the ingredients needed.

  • 20 grams jelly powder mix
  • 150 ml black tea
  • 60 ml creamer
  • 50 ml fructose
  • 1 scoop pearls
  • water

2. Dissolve jelly powder mix in a pot of water over high heat.

3. Pour in black tea.

4. Add the creamer and fructose.

5. Stir the mixture constantly until it boils.

6. Remove from heat and let it cool.

7. While doing that, get the ice pop molder and fill it pearls.

8. Before the jelly solidifies, pour the it into the ice pop molder. I’m sorry for the mess. I was doing it quickly.

9. Stick and cover.

10. After a few minutes, remove the jelly from the molder.

11. Your Pearl Milk Tea Jelly Pops is now done and ready to be served.

12. I don’t want the remaining jelly to go to waste so I turned it into salad! I sliced the milk tea jelly into cubes, added more pearls, cream and condensed milk and we now have our second dish, which is the Pearl Milk Tea Jelly Salad.
