Melzar’s Mountain Resort: We All Love Nature

Doctor shopping for Soma prescription The southern tip of Oriental Mindoro is popular for its small islets, white sand beaches and hilltop resorts as the towns encompasses beautiful land forms and bodies of water. Melzar Mountain Resort is a good tourist spot to witness all these attractions.

buy watson soma Melzar Mountain Resort was open to public for quite a long time already. My mom’s company’s team building was once held in the said resort. But when they constructed and opened the infinity pool, Melzar came back to the scene and got its social media presence. Now, it is a destination for weekend getaways, overnight stays and day tours, a venue for events and a breakfast stop for bikers and riders.

Melzar is proud to have a small infinity pool that is nestled on the side of hill, overlooking the panorama of the town’s mountain ridges, Tablas Strait and Mansalay Pier. One will definitely enjoy having a dip here with this relaxing sight, not to mention the cold breeze of wind. However, the pool during our visit was white and cloudy. It’s a good thing that it didn’t affect the touch of its water.

The advantage of a mountain resort is, of course, having this kind of view. It’s so majestic that it makes me forget my problems somehow. It’s indeed a stress reliever. Actually, even though they only have a few benches and picnic tables surrounding the pool, it’s alright. Besides, lounging and sightseeing is the best thing to do here. Swimming just takes the second best.

In the south, Melzar’s restaurant is known to cater events like birthdays, weddings and the likes. If only I’m near Melzar, I would also choose this location for my occasions because I would also love to have that scenery on my special day. Actually, simply eating in this al fresco dining would calm your mind already.

We ordered our lunch here and had this chunky Crispy Pata. The pork is still quite tough but the flavor is on point. The Sinigang na Salmon Head has the right acidity. It’s warmth is comforting. The salmon exposes its natural flavors but it could have been better if it’s cooked less. As for the nachos, the salsa is good but the chips aren’t crispy. I’m not a veggie lover so I let my companions eat the Chopsuey. It seems that they enjoyed it, too.

Instagram people, this giant wok is calling us! Get ready with your poses that will make you look like the hot meal of the day!  With the mountainous horizon in the background, your photo here surely deserves a tile in your feed. Since they started these photo accessories, why don’t they try bringing the famous Kawa Hot Bath from Antique? That would be a great addition to Melzar’s attraction!

They also have a nest that will make you feel like a bird, eyeing the farm and sea below. This nest reminds me of the photo spots in Wanagiri Hidden Hill in Bali. Like Melzar, it is also located on top of a hill, which gives a backdrop of sea. If that’s the case, they can also put up giant swings in this area. After all, they already have zip-line so a giant swing is easy-peasy to make.

This kuya deserve a photo in my blog as he assisted us on our IG photo sesh from the restaurant to the giant wok and bird’s nest. He knows the poses and the spots very well and shares them happily with us. Actually, the whole staff deserves a thumb up for being hospitable and obedient to our requests.

The fun doesn’t end there as they also have a zip-line in their compound. It’s another great way to roam around and observe the jungle in Melzar. It’s long and quite long so the ride is already worth the price. I also saw some guests online having their ATV ride in the resort’s trails. I just don’t know if those vehicles are Melzar’s property or brought by guests.

The mountain resort also houses rooms for lodging. But since we only live two hours away from Melzar, we chose to book for day tour only and just took a peek at their rooms. There’s actually nothing special with them. They are just typical B&B rooms with basic furnitures. But offering an overnight stay is a good idea, especially for guests who wishes to rest on a hillside for a little more time.

The building for rooms is located near the restaurant. And I think they’re setting up another array of rooms near the pool. Actually, Melzar is still under construction so it is expected that the resort is still missing on some parts. Despite of this, we were contented with our tour since the infinity pool with scenic view alone is rewarding already. If the unfinished resort is satisfactory already, what more will it be when all the works are done? We’ll surely pay another visit to find out.
