Spotify’s Best Songs For Travel 2022

I must say that the year 2022 is the year of healing. It’s the time when we finally got back to normal after the world pandemic. Travel restrictions were also relaxed so our journey around the world continues. Of course, that’s with the company of music. When we’re at the beach chilling, on mountains while hiking, at glamping spots while watching the campfire, in the car on our way to our destinations, at the terminal while waiting for our ride or in an airplane going to farther locations, we equip our earphones, open the Spotify app and listen to music.

Therefore, as part of this food a travel blog, it has been my routine to share my yearly top ten songs. Listed below are my most listened songs in my Spotify travel playlist for 2022.

Cardboard Box is pop and R&B mix, featuring the group’s harmonized vocals over a dancehall-inspired beat with elements of 2000s music. Lyrically, the song describes moving on from an unfaithful romantic partner. Upon its release, the song gained popularity through TikTok, Instagram and Spotify. I learned the song from a friend who dances in TikTok and I just wanna dance with the song also. http___www.bigleaguekickball.com_about_ Soma online with next day shipping 9

When Left and Right is playing, my hands would just automatically make their movement. Oh! TikTok, what have you done? You can’t question me. It’s minimalistic yet upbeat. But anyway, I just realized that Charlie Puth is a one talented guy when I watched how he created this song. It’s like he just pushed buttons for the tune and the song is finished. What a skill!

At first, I thought that Made You Look is an old song from Meghan Trainor since her past songs are making rounds again in the charts. Thanks to TikTok and Spotify! But I’m glad that she is back again, making new songs with the same 50’s style. It’s her signature! Also, kudos for writing a song that advocates for woman’s confidence and self-love!

The production team of Darna chose the right boy group for the song of the mentioned superhero series. BGYO didn’t disappoint us with their song, Patuloy Lang Ang Lipad. It’s a dance pop that resembles the tune of Kpop. At the same time, the beat blends with the action scenes of Darna, bringing enthusiasm to the viewers.

I first heard of Calm Down through the rendition of Selena Gomez. The addition of Selena’s voice gave a sexy melody to the chill vibe of Rema. The combination of their voices is like a holy matrimony. But I would like to give the full credit to Rema for thinking of this song. I love the African beat to it that makes the song hip and unique.

5. Shut Down – BlackPink

After a two-year wait, we were again blessed with a song from BlackPink and they made sure that it was worth it. I may not understand the lyrics but it makes one wanna vibe with the hip hop. I love how they started it with a violin piece, making it stand out from the rest of their songs. The dance choreography has some swag and charm, too!

4. With – Kim Tae Ri, Nam Joo Hyuk, Lee Joo Myung, Bona, Choi Hyun Wook

You will neither find it in hit charts, in Spotify’s most streamed list nor in TikTok. But you’ll find it in my heart. With is a soundtrack of Twenty Five Twenty One. It was sang by the major casts of the said Korean drama. If you haven’t watched it, it’s a coming-of-age drama that talks about dreams, friendship and love. In this song, I reminisce all the emotions I felt in the drama.

3. abcdefu – Gayle

When abcdefu is on the background, I just want to scream my heart out while singing. It isn’t just a song that you would play on repeat because of the tune. The way the lyrics was made was genius. Gayle chose playful lines that would catch the listener’s attention but they were definitely relatable. It’s also funny when she said fuck you to “everybody but your dog.” I’d say the same to my ex-boyfriend.

2. I’m Good (Blue) – David Guetta and Bebe Rexha

Here’s a fun fact about I’m Good (Blue). This is David Guetta’s song that went viral in TikTok even before he released it. It was leaked and when he first played it live, everyone has already memorized the lyrics. Well, that’s understandable. It’s a song that you wanna jam with. As what Rexha said, they “put the ‘nostalgic remix together so naturally.”

Woah! I can’t believe that a newbie in music industry snatches the first place in my top ten list. Rosa Linn is so talented. When you hear, you just wanna chill since the beat makes it cozy. Pure heart was put into creating this song from the lyrics to the tune. She may not have won the Eurovision Song Contest, but she certainly has won all of us in the internet.
