The Forest Lodge: The Best Deal In Baguio

buy soma C.O.D. My first two visits to Baguio made me believe that this tourist city is overrated. You can’t blame me. I’ve witnessed the crowded side of Baguio. Traffic, huge mass of tourists, trash from undisciplined people and houses covered the mountains instead of trees – all these pain me in the eye. But my last two visits made me realized that we were in the wrong side of Baguio to appreciate its beauty and that we should be staying in Camp John Hay to experience the realness of the City of Pines. During my third visit with my boyfriend, we stayed at a rental condominium unit in the city proper but Camp John Hay was part of our itinerary. We regret staying on that condo unit and wished we booked in one of Camp John Hay’s hotels instead. From that day, we dreamt of sleeping in one of its hotels and today, we just fulfilled it.

Soma shipped with no prescription The Manor was our initial accomodation plan. But since it was fully-booked on our chosen dates, we ended up in The Forest Lodge. And I didn’t regret choosing The Forest Lodge since it has a lot of similarities to The Manor, especially the log cabin inspiration that is truly heartwarming and relaxing in the eye. As they say, it “inspires togetherness, bonding and the traditional Baguio hospitality.” It’s like you got the The Manor feels at a budget price.

Soma Cod Overnight Delivery I just booked a room for four without looking what room it was and I was surprised to see this big room with huge beds. Wow! It was my first time to book a suite with me paying. There’s a separate room for kitchen and shower room. It’s funny that we survived two nights without A/C unit because with this weather, the ceiling fan is enough.

The toilet, shower area and wash basin is on one corner while the space on other side allows me to dance inside. It’s clean and complete with basic toiletries, bidet and heater. I love that there is a walk-in closet with vanity table outside the shower room.

Simplicity remained up to the kitchen. Complete with electric kettle, mini refrigerator and microwave oven, you might want to consider taking your breakfast in your room, especially when you don’t have breakfast reservations at The Twist just like us. However, just make sure to have clean utensils so you won’t be bothered by the cockroach I saw.

From the window of our room, we could see the facade of the hotel since the building is in semi-circle form. The architecture is absolutely similar to The Manor. The log cabin design perfectly matches the healthy trees and blooming flowers, making this satisfying view from our room. Also, we could see where our car was parked from here.

My favorite part of the hotel is the lobby located at the upper ground level. I usually don’t stay at hotel lobbies but this time is an exception. The Forest Lodge lobby would make you feel that you’re in a gigantic log cabin with a fireplace, mini library and live music. It’s so perfect and cozy. This is prolly the hotel with the best lobby among the hotels I’ve visited.

On one side of the lobby houses the The Twist, The Forest Lodge’s flagship restaurant. Like everything else, this restaurant is just basic. It is simply adorned with black knitted chairs and tables and white and wooden low ceilings. I appreciate that it is wide. It wouldn’t be crowded when buffet happens.

We dined in The Twist once and I ordered Mushroom Soup and Grilled Salmon Fillet. The soup is rich and has the natural flavors of mushroom. I love that it has no embellishments. It only has croutons and it’s good to go. I could totally feel the Asian twist in the salmon dish. It has crispy exteriors and juicy meat. The salsa and vegetable rice were flavorful, too.

When it comes to the staff and service, I must that the people in the entrance are welcoming. However, the receptionists are cramming when I checked in. There were a lot of clerks behind the reception table and yet it seems that they do not know what to do first. But perhaps, it was just a bad day for them so I understand. I have no more problems aside from that.

The Forest Lodge is located at the beautiful paradise of Camp John Hay. Everytime we go to Baguio, we won’t leave the city without dropping by Camp John Hay. Pine trees, sweater weather, fun activities, homey ambiance – you will definitely get the best of Baguio in this place. If you think that Baguio is crowded and overrated, then you are on the wrong side of the summer capital. Then, you haven’t seen Camp John Hay. And yep! Those are our parents right there. This whole The Forest Lodge experience is our gift to them. So we’re truly thankful to The Forest Lodge for being part of it. It was indeed a wonderful experience for us. I miss coming back to my home for two days.
