Cafe France: Our Place For Fresh And Healthy Food

Everyone loves promos and free restaurant coupons because who doesn’t love free stuff? Here’s a tip. If you’re looking for a restaurant with good food and good ambiance, I know a place that also generously gives promos to their customers.

Cafe France is a cafe and restaurant that is a haven for relaxation and conversation. It has a mini bakery on the side that offers pastries which are mainly from European cuisine. Living to their tagline, Cafe France serves premium, fresh, healthy and delicious array of breakfast meals, gourmet sandwiches, rice meals, pastas, salads, soups and hot and cold beverages.

Promos are really effective. One time, we went in Cafe France because of their buy-one-take-one promo. We discovered how great their food is. Their breads and coffees are what you will desire to have every morning. So from then on, we became frequent customers of Cafe France even without promos. Here are the food we tried so far.

Coffee Bun / Mini Chocolate Walnut Croissant

This simple-looking bun is incredible. Although the coffee bun has oily bottom and airy light interior, I must say that it is a heavy meal due to the thick, crispy and strong coating. The cheese inside was a surprise. I love that the Mini Chocolate Walnut Croissant has thin layers which makes it crispy. The amount of chocolate to the croissant is balanced. They used the chocolate as toppings instead of fillings. In this way, I could taste it in every bite. The nuts give chunkiness.

Ham and Cheese Omelette

I love that their breakfast menu dishes are served with a choice of drink and a choice of bread. The breakfast tray choices even have fruits. For my Ham and Cheese Omelette, I had baguette. The mild-tasting bread suits and balances the savory omelette. The omelette isn’t the best but it is yummy and fluffy. Both egg and ham were well-salted. The melted cheese adds more life. The bread is crispy and has creamy flavor.

French Dip Roast Beef

One thing I like about Cafe France is the way they present their food. The plate they used for their food makes their dishes classy. As for the French Dip Roast Beef on it, I’m kinda sad because the bread has only roast beef and onions as fillings. The beef is quite bland and the mustard sauce is dominating. It’s a good thing that the baguette and the chips were crispy. But I must say that it is luscious even without the French dip.

Creamy Mushroom

What I love about Cafe France is the fact that they generous when it comes to promos. After one promo ends, another one begins. And they do their promos big time like when we visited one time and bought one dish, we got this Creamy Mushroom soup and tall iced tea drinks for free. The soup is kinda bland. It’s neither rich in mushroom flavors nor thick in texture. It’s watery to be exact. But despite all these, I find it delicious.

Hickory Chops

Hickory Chops is only available at selected stores but I’m glad that it is in Greenhills branch. Gosh! This one thick and large boneless pork chop is beautifully cooked giving remarkable flavors. It has been a week since I tried it but my palate still can’t forget the flavors of the marinade and the sauce and how the charred areas made it more tasty. Since the Hickory Chop is quite big, it’s hard but soft enough to chew.

Beefy Mushroom

I appreciate that the Beefy Mushroom has thin cuts of meat so it’s easy to eat and enjoy. The meat alone has intense beef flavor that I truly love. I’m not familiar with the sauce used but I can’t deny that it’s delish even without the cheese dip. It blends with the flavors of beef and mushroom. I know its called beefy mushroom but I still prefer more beef than mushrooms and onions. It has too much onion. It’s like a spaghetti of onion strips.

Creamy Truffle Carbonara

This is how carbonara should taste like. As carbonara evolves through time, it is becoming milky and creamy in taste. Little did we know that the authentic carbonara sauce is made with cheese and eggs. I’m so happy that Cafe France’s Creamy Truffle Carbonara got it. The cheese is dominating in their pasta sauce while the herbs adds flavor and aroma. It is served with French toast that is crispy and flavorful.

Iced Latte / Mango Loco

Wow! Look how tall these drinks are! We thought our metal straws wouldn’t make it. I’m surprised to find real mango in Mango Loco in making it tastes really natural. I just don’t like that I can still feel bits of crushed ice on this shake. But that’s just fine because I was mote focused on it having natural taste. On the other hand, I like the gradience of Iced Latte. Just make sure to mix it to get the real flavor or else you’ll get milk and coffee separately.
