Best Of Marky’s Prime Bake

It’s the 139th day of quarantine period in our region and I have no restaurant reviews or travel reviews for now since we only have limited time of going out. But we can go to groceries! So I thought of filling my blog with product reviews for the meantime.

I already knew Marky’s Prime Bake since I was young because I always see them in the shelves of Mercuru Drug. It’s noticeable because it’s one among the few brands offering Filipino biscuits in Mercury Drug alongside foreign and local mainstream products. They have different variants of pastries available so I was able to buy ten.

soma no prescription overnight shipping Otap

Being the flagship product of Marky’s Prime Bake, the company offers various types and flavors of Otap. We tried the original sugar biscuit that are thin yet big. Each packs has a plenty amount of cookies and each biscuit is generous in sugar. I like that it does not easily break unlike other Otaps that are already crushed when bought.

Pacencia looks like my childhood baon called eggnog. However, this is smoother, bigger, not soft and does not melt in mouth. It tastes like sweeter eggnog with a touch of arrow root biscuit. Yep! It’s too sweet but i like it. I didn’t realized I finished a pack in one sitting while watching in Netflix.

Visually, Galletas de Patatas looks like a smaller version of egg cracklet. But when I had a try, I realized that they are indeed egg cracklets. I searched and confirmed! Marky’s Galletas de Patatas may not have that shiny yellow surface like the traditional egg cracklet, I can still feel the crisp and chalky interior.

Honestly, I never liked puto seko because of its dry powdery texture that would surely make one cough. But let’s not be biased here. I admire that Marky’s Puto Seko is compact and doesn’t break easily, considering the long transportation of Marky’s goods to Mindoro. It’s not too sweet so I appreicate it.

Soma Cod Overnight Delivery Broas

For everyone’s information, Broas is similar to the foreign biscuit called Lady Finger. Marky’s Broas is big and puffy. It’s a yummy snack, actually, and it tastes like their Toasted Mamon since I’ve also tried their rectangular-shaped Mamon Tostado. However, each stick isn’t consistent in taste. Some are sweet. Some are just mild. And there are even bitter ones!

This one is really a lot. There are 40 cookies in one pack. There are thin one and there are thick ones. Five is already enough to make me full. It’s dry-looking appearance isn’t inviting but it’s actually good when I had a try. It’s sweet and creamy in taste. Its flavor is actually similar to their Pacencia.

Jacobina

The Jacobina I know and grew up to is cubic and puffy with air in between. I enjoy its thin layers which makes it crunchy. Sadly, Marky’s Jacobina doesn’t have that. The layers of Marky’s Jacobina are really close leaving no space in between. It’s like eating a solid cube, which is dull. The flavor bores me, too.

Turrones de Mani

I’m not a fan of Barquiron or any wafer roll filled with toasted flour. It’s messy to eat and too rich for my taste. On the other hand, Marky’s Turrones de Mani may be in the same family but its different flavor somehow changed my notion on it. The peanut adds to the thrill but I think it’s lacking. I could count how many nuts I got from each wafer roll.

Argellanas

I can already say that it’s delish just by looking at it. Those glaze and sugar drizzle are alluring! I found out that the biscuit is similar to Otap. Argellanas is just smaller and its rise is higher. It isn’t as sweet as it looks. Otap is actually sweeter. But I enjoyed eating it because of the chewy parts inside. It’s like as if there is Biscocho inside.

Pilipit

If you could remember, I made Pilipit or Twisted Cookies just recently. It’s a famous pastry snack in the Philippines and Marky’s Prime Bake is one of its famous manufacturers in the country. Its strands are small and very fun to eat. I love that it has thick sugar coating making its sweetness just perfect.
