Nobody Does Milk Tea Like Dakasi

It’s the 97th day of quarantine period in our region and finally, after four long months, I had the chance to go and spend a day at Lipa. My initial plan was to buy a lot of food that aren’t availble in our province. I immediately decided to buy Dakasi milk teas and stock them up at home. My boyfriend and I finished eight milk teas in just two days. Feeling the lack, I searched for friends who went to Manila and asked them to buy me more Dakasi mill teas. This is how addicted I am to milk teas and to Dakasi.

Dakasi prides itself for having “fresh ingredients with no artificial flavoring and little to no additives” for their products, “guaranteeing a taste that cannot be found anywhere else.”

But before I could give my thoughts about their products, can I just share my disappointment to their staff who handles their Messenger. They were unresponsive for a week when I was asking nonstop for their menu. They only replied when I calmly told an issue I encoutered with their drink. I appreciate that they finally responded but it’s sad that I got unprofessional and unfriendly replies. I love their milk teas. I love the ambiance of their stores. But this is one thing I hate about Dakasi. Please fix it. Anyway, let’s go to their products.

soma online overnight Charcoal Roasted Milk Tea

It’s one of their bestselling milk teas and with this surprising burst of flavors, I could easily understand why. Who would have thought that a scorched grain can be a good flavor for milk tea? I’m serious. This tastes like a roasted rice tea but with milk. It’s amazingly delish. It has a great balance of milk and tea.

It’s so sad that I received a spoiled milk tea since it needed to travel for 12 hours. I know it’s my fault so I’m not complaining. Actually, because of this, I was able to prove that they are using natural ingredients for their products like fresh milk instead of creamer. I had another try of this same flavor and I truly enjoyed the cereals. The chocolate was good.

Creme Okinawa

There’s a lot of things going on in this cup and I love it! You can see the layers of goodness. On top is the “creme” they are pertaining, which is salted cream, according to the crew. I’m glad that it’s not satiating. At the bottom, I can sense purity of the Okinawa. Shaking things up, the cream, okinawa, tea, pearls and coconut jellies just went well together.

Creme Avokkaido

The blend of these two completely different things, avocado and Hokkaido, is simply amazing. I can tell that they used natural avocado for this since I can still feel the strands of the fruit. I can taste the fullness of Hokkaido at the bottom of the cup which makes the pearl sweeter. The “creme” makes it milky and balances everything.

Halo Halo Milk Tea

I always see this Halo Halo Milk Tea in Dakasi pages. This doesn’t look like what they post. But what you see in pages are the legit ingredients inside this cup. The base milk tea they used isn’t as good as I expected. But it was the sinkers that improved the drink. I think it would be better to choose smoothie for their halo halo flavor.

Blueberry Iced Tea

With this, you would know how a real iced tea differs to powdered ones. I could absolutely feel the flavor of the tea leaves. The mixture of blueberry and tea is good. It’s similar Breen’s Blueberry Fruit Tea but this has stronger tea, which is Jasmine, maybe. It wasn’t their best though. Dakasi is best at making milk teas and Creme Series is their best line.

Passionfruit Yakult

My first choice was Mango Yakult so it would be balance of sweetness and tanginess and it’s the most familiar flavor. but it wasn’t available so I opted for Passionfruit Yakult, which was really tangy. Its flavor is different to the passionfruit of Chatime and that of Breen. I couldn’t judge which one is right because I honestly do not know how the fruit should taste.

Strawberry Au Lait

Other milk tea shops consider Yakult and yoghurt the same. In Dakasi, the difference between the two is very recognizable. For me, their fruit drinks are much better with yoghurt. Again, Dakasi was able to stun me with their Strawbery Au Lait. It’s like I’m eating protein-packed yogurt but in a beverage form. It’s thick and creamy like a real yoghurt.

Iced Coffee

They make good coffees, too! They didn’t mention a specific java for their iced coffee but I’m assuming that this is something similar to caramel macchiato because of being milky and strong in caffeine, it’s also sweet like a caramel. It isn’t visually attractive like most aesthetic iced coffees out ther but you will be surprised with its beautiful flavors.

Hot Matcha Red Bean Milk Tea

There was no red bean during the time of my visit but it’s alright. After all, I’m not into sinkers, especially when it’s a hot drink. And this is luscious! Everything about it is delish. The tea is strong despite of its milkiness. The matcha flavor is light but i love it. Its warmth is a relief to my taste buds and my tummy.
